London

From Trebitz via London to Lancaster

From November 2009 till September 2010 I lived at a small village 50km west off Berlin, called Trebitz.

During the time, I had the chance to take quite a few pictures. Have a look at the gallery.

My main activity at Trebitz, however, was exploring data for my PhD and started writing related articles.

An open cemetery at East London

An open cemetery at East London

In July 2009 I had a chance to visit this cemetery, which opens death to life! How? The cemetery has been transformed into a public park and a major footpath crosses this new kind of space.
A great idea! It is good to allow us integrating death into the everyday (for those who work outside of the health&death industry, of course).

I have been visiting London in July 2009. Near a corner at east London I took this picture. It seems quite ironic that it is Christian Aid which promises to know how eradicating poverty works.
