About
Ingmar Lippert, born at Mainz (Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany), is a social scientist by profession. He holds a B.Sc. in Environmental and Resource Management and a M.A. in Environment, Culture and Society. He studied at Brandenburg University of Technology (Cottbus, Germany), Bosporus University (Istanbul, Turkey) and Lancaster University (United Kingdom).
Currently he is undertaking a PhD at Augsburg University on Agents of Ecological Modernisation in Corporations with a multinational of the financial service sector as his site for field studies.
At Mainz, Ingmar has been active as a student representative in education politics, thus, participating in local and regional education policy-making and supporting solidarity with Rhineland-Palatinate's twin country Rwanda's pupils. For his political activities he has been granted the Mainz Youth Award in 2001 by the three Rotary Clubs of Mainz.
