Ingmar Lippert completed bis undergraduate studies at Brandenburg University of Technology (Cottbus, Germany) and Bosporus University (Istanbul, Turkey) in Environmental and Resource Management (B.Sc.) in 2005.

Afterwards he studied Environment, Culture and Society at the Centre for the Study of Environmental Change at Lancaster University (Lancaster, UK). Lancaster University granted him a Master of Arts with distinction.

From 2007 to 2008, Ingmar was Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Science, Technology and Society (Graz, Austria).

Currently, he is working on an ethnography on micro-practices of ecological modernisation in corporations. For that he is affiliated to Augsburg Augsburg UniversityUniversity (Augsburg Germany).
